Hi Guys! After a long week I brought another show, and it´s amazing, this show combines the magic and illusion of Criss Angel, and you may know that this person is an American illusionist, musician and actor. He is best known for his illusion show and starring in the television show Criss Angel Mindfreak and is the most watched magician in television history and recently awarded Magician of the Century. But this time he has a special collaboration with the Cirque du Soleil, with the show called it. “CRISS ANGEL BELIEVE” which takes place just at Luxor Hotel Casino, Las Vegas. This show it´s described as “the most spectacular illusions from the magician of the century” This show has a special story, at first he tried to present the show at Broadway, as well as other casinos, but didn´t work, until he entered a partnership with Cirque du Soleil and the Luxor´s parent company.
The show gala opening was on October 31, 2008; at first the show received negative audience reactions, because magic Angel is known for confusing and uninteresting theme and that´s why viewers felt neither Angel nor Cirque du Soleil were able to perfume their capabilities until April 2009, at the end the show was not well received by the fans, because they said the show was “unbelievably BAD” , Cirque du Soleil later apologized to Hilton for Angel´s performance. So as you can see, not all the show of this cirque had succeed.
I can’t believe how it is even possible that neither Criss Angel nor Cirque du Soleil had had such bad performance for more than one time in the same place. I thought that Criss Angel had never done a terrible magic act, but to think that people don’t even like the performance of cirque du Soleil shows how poor the whole performance was and how hard it was for the performers to fix the errors of their show. Despite those performances, I think that the people still like to see their shows, but separately because it seems that their work together is not peasant for the audience. Maybe they should continue doing their performances individually and not together. Their work is unique and spectacular, the best things of their shows come from the difference of the ideas exposed on each show, if to different shows are due together there is always a possibility of ruin the whole performance. Their ideas should be kept apart.

I love what Cirque du Soleil has done in the past years with all its amazing shows full of perfect performance, warm-feeling stories, and colorful, imaginative stages. They indeed understand the whole meaning of the word “entertainment”. But as anyone, it is completely normal to at least have a mistake done, and I’m betting this little mistake for Cirque du Soleil was working with Mister Criss Angel. I’m not a true fan of this man’s work, but when I started reading your entry I said to myself “well, I’m going to read it with an open mind”, until I sense that you agree with me in the fact that this show was a major disgrace for the well recognized circus. Maybe the lack of a good theme and the idea of Criss Angel performance wasn’t good enough for the critics, but I sure that this was just a silly mistake and Cirque du Soleil wont have another at least for a good time.
